The standard system for mechanical performance testing mainly includes international standards, regional/national standards, and industry-specific standards.

International standards include ISO 6892-1 (Metallic materials, tensile testing), ISO 148-1 (Charpy impact test), and ASTM E8/E9 (Metallic materials, tensile/compression testing).

Regional standards include Chinese GB/T 228 (Metallic materials, tensile testing method), GB/T 229 (Metallic materials, Charpy impact test method), EU EN 10002-1 (Metallic materials, tensile testing), EN ISO 6507 (Vickers hardness test), and US ASTM E10 (Britner hardness test) and SAE J429 (Bolt mechanical performance standard).

Industry-specific standards include ISO 16750 (mechanical impact testing of automotive components), AMS 2750 (tensile testing of high-temperature alloys) in the aerospace field, and ASME BPVC II (creep performance requirements for nuclear grade materials) in the nuclear power field.
